Who we are

Software is often built from a technical perspective, forgetting who it is actually for. The result? Systems people have to adapt to, instead of systems that support them. At Margin-Top, we believe it can be different. Not by adding more technology, but by returning to the foundation: human logic. With more than twenty years of experience in complex projects for organisations such as the Netherlands Forensic Institute, de Volksbank and Rabobank, we have seen a clear pattern. The best solutions are almost always the most logical ones. Yet in large projects, that logic often gets lost. We help organisations bring that clarity back. We do not only look at screens or code. We look at the people who work with the system every day. When projects get stuck in details, we restore the bigger picture. When digital products lose structure, we rebuild the logic. Founder

I work with entrepreneurs and growing businesses who want more than just a website. They want clarity. Structure. A digital presence that actually supports their work. My background is a combination of design and technology. I have worked in IT for many years and understand how systems function under the surface. At the same time, I care deeply about structure, aesthetics and how things feel to the user. That combination shapes how I work. I do not start with trends or visual tricks. I start with questions. What does your business really do? What should people understand within seconds? What needs to work smoothly behind the scenes? From there, I build digital foundations. Strong websites. Clear identities. Smart online systems that are practical and maintainable. I believe good digital work should feel calm, logical and trustworthy. Not complicated. Not overloaded. Just right. Flooffs & silent supervisors

The Floofs of the Office Behind every project at Margin-top, there are two silent supervisors. The floofs. They do not design websites. They do not write code. But they take quality control very seriously. They are responsible for regular walk breaks, fresh air thinking sessions and making sure no idea gets overcomplicated. When things get intense, they remind us to step back. When something works, they approve with a quiet presence nearby. They are part of the rhythm of the studio. Calm. Observant. Occasionally dramatic. Every digital foundation we build has passed the floof test.
